Siguiendo su misión, la Masticationpedia' pretende destacar la importancia de la ciencia en los campos de la neurofisiología y las rehabilitaciones masticatorias y promover proyectos científicos de especial interés temático. Porque quienes dedican su vida a la investigación, encuentran en el estudio y la experimentación su profesión y dirigen sus actividades a la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos.
Sin embargo, los descubrimientos y las innovaciones tienen una repercusión mucho mayor en los distintos aspectos de nuestra vida de lo que podemos imaginar. La investigación y el desarrollo, al estar también inextricablemente unidos, afectan a nuestra sociedad y a nuestra vida.

Today the most innovative sectors and studies are those that lie on the borderlines between different disciplinary fields. This situation leads to a new interactive model in which fundamental research questions arise by addressing practical problems, and practical problems contribute to asking new questions.
